What's Included in the Full Service (£220)

  • Full safety inspection — frame, fork, headset, bottom bracket
  • Brake adjustment — pads checked, rotors inspected, lever feel
  • Gear adjustment — rear and front derailleur, cable check
  • Chain check — wear measured, cleaning and lubrification
  • Drivetrain strip-down — chain, cassette, chainrings clean and check
  • Hub/headset/bottom bracket inspection — play, roughness, adjustment
  • Wheel truing — tension spokes, true rim, check hub
  • Tyre check — pressure, wear, recommended replacement timing
  • Written condition report — we tell you exactly what state your bike is in
  • Everything fixed as part of the service — no surprise bills after

What's Not Included in the Full Service

  • Parts (chains, cables, brake pads, tyres) — quoted separately before fitting
  • Suspension service (fork/shock) — quoted separately
  • Wheel building or spoke replacement — quoted separately
  • Frame repair or painting — we can recommend specialists

How Long Does a Full Service Take?

Most full services are completed within 2 working days. Same-day slots are available for urgent jobs — call 07951 125843 before 10am to check. We also collect your bike from anywhere in South West London and return it when done. Free within 3 miles of our Wimbledon workshop.

What's the difference between the Advance and Full service?

Advance Service (£120): safety inspection, brake/gear adjustment, chain check and basic lubrification. Full Service (£220): everything in Advance PLUS drivetrain strip-down, deep clean, hub/headset/BB check, wheel truing, and written condition report. For bikes over 2 years old or used heavily, Full is the right choice.

Do you offer a warranty on your service work?

Yes. Clear quote before work starts.: if anything we've serviced goes wrong within the warranty period, we fix it again at no charge. Written condition report included so you know exactly what state your bike is in.

Can I use Cycle to Work for a full service?

Yes. Cyclescheme, Green Commute Initiative, and bike2work all accepted. On a £220 Full Service, a higher rate taxpayer saves £86. That's real money.
