Common Questions

What's the difference between a gravel bike and a road bike?

Tyre clearance (35-50mm vs 25-32mm), slightly slacker geometry for stability on loose surfaces, hydraulic disc brakes standard on gravel (rare on road), and lower gearing for steep tracks. If you're riding anything other than smooth tarmac, a gravel bike is the right tool.

Can I use a gravel bike on the road?

Absolutely. Most gravel bikes are faster than endurance road bikes on anything other than smooth tarmac. The bigger tyres (at lower pressure) actually give more comfort and grip. Many of our customers use gravel bikes as their only bike — they're that versatile.

Do you service all gravel bike brands?

Yes. Specialized Diverge, Canyon Grizl, Trek Checkpoint, Cannondale Topstone, Whyte, Ribble, Rose — if it's a gravel bike, we service it.
