Electronic shifting needs careful setup — not guesswork

BikeClinique fits Shimano Di2 for road, gravel and performance builds from our SW17 workshop. We handle the unglamorous details that make Di2 reliable: hanger alignment, correct chain sizing, front derailleur height and angle, firmware, E-Tube setup, brake hose routing and a proper test ride before handover.

Freddie and the workshop team see the same pattern constantly: Di2 is brilliant when it is installed cleanly, but small shortcuts create noisy shifts, battery issues and poor front shifting. We build it as if we have to maintain it later — because usually we do.

Install labour from £200. Final price depends on whether we are fitting a complete groupset, replacing selected parts, routing hoses internally, bleeding brakes or building the bike from a frameset. Parts are quoted separately before work starts.

Typical turnaround is 24–72 hours, unless we need special-order small parts or the frame needs extra build work.

Can you install Shimano 105 Di2 on my current road bike?

Usually yes if the frame, bottom bracket, brake mounts and drivetrain standard are compatible. We check frame routing, hanger alignment, brake hose condition and cassette/chain compatibility before quoting.

Do you fit customer-supplied Shimano Di2 parts?

Yes. We can fit customer-supplied Shimano 105 Di2, Ultegra Di2 and Dura-Ace Di2 parts. We inspect them first and confirm if anything else is required before work starts.
