At Bike Clinique, fitting is £300 for road and gravel bikes and £200 for MTB and hybrid bikes, plus the parts. A 30-minute video consultation is £30. We quote parts and labour together after a compatibility check, before anything is ordered.
Who fits Shimano Ultegra Di2 and 105 Di2 in London?
Bike Clinique fits Shimano 105 Di2, Ultegra Di2 and Dura-Ace Di2 at its workshop at Unit 1, The Swan Centre, Rosemary Road, London SW17 0AR. We check the frame's routing and battery position first, then fit, set up and test the system.
Can you convert my bike from mechanical to electronic shifting?
Yes. We convert mechanical road and gravel bikes to Shimano Di2 or SRAM AXS where the frame allows it. Di2 needs routing for its wires and a place for the battery; SRAM AXS is wireless, so it suits more frames.
Do you fit SRAM Red, Force, Rival and Apex?
Yes, including AXS electronic and Apex mechanical for road, the 13-speed XPLR AXS groups for gravel, and Eagle AXS and Eagle Transmission for mountain bikes. SRAM's 10-tooth road cassettes need an XDR driver, and Eagle Transmission needs a frame with a UDH hanger, so we check both first.
Do you fit Campagnolo groupsets?
Yes. We supply and fit Campagnolo Chorus, Record, Super Record and Super Record Wireless for road, and Ekar and Ekar GT for gravel. Campagnolo needs a Campagnolo-compatible freehub, which we check before ordering.
Can you fit a groupset I bought online?
Yes, after a compatibility check. Send us the frame, groupset, wheel and brake details first. Any extra parts or corrective work are quoted before fitting.
Do you upgrade gravel and mountain bike groupsets?
Yes. Gravel: Shimano GRX, SRAM XPLR AXS and Campagnolo Ekar. Mountain bike: Shimano CUES, Deore, SLX, XT and XTR, and SRAM Eagle and Eagle Transmission. MTB and hybrid fitting is £200.
Are your mechanics trained by Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo?
Yes. Freddie has completed SRAM University technical training, Shimano S-TEC training in person and online, and Campagnolo training with Velotech Cycling, Campagnolo's approved UK service centre. He is also a Cytech qualified mechanic and has run the Tooting workshop since 2012.
Do you only fit groupsets for riders in South West London?
No. We fit groupsets and build bikes for riders from all over London: north, east, west, central and south. Bring the bike to our workshop in Tooting, SW17, or book Pick Up and Drop Off if you are in South West London. You can also start with a 30-minute video consultation from anywhere.
Where are you, and do you collect bikes?
Unit 1, The Swan Centre, Rosemary Road, Tooting, London SW17 0AR, open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm. Pick Up and Drop Off is £24 (£12 each way), with a minimum of £60 labour on jobs with a pick-up.
